As a student in the communication science and disorders program, you will complete 25 guided observation hours of assessment and treatment of speech-language pathology and audiology services. These hours are embedded in three courses, and may take place across various settings. These observation hours will be reviewed with faculty to discuss choice of assessments, treatment techniques, intervention materials selection, client response to the treatment, and evidence-based practice.
